Puglia, Source of Inspiration
In the Italian “boot”, our designer and creative director, María, fell in love with Puglia’s light, the vivid colour of the sea and the traditional ceramics. Its resemblance to Cádiz and how its inhabitants are mindful of their customs and traditions made her feel at home.
As she walked by, every corner of every village was surrounded by art and tradition. María felt inspired by the variety of artisans, ceramists, basket makers and the local women at their front doors making pasta. Some even open their kitchens and let people eat!
The beauty of the architecture and its colours as the roofs of the passage painted with stars and sea blue shape the identity of the locality. The streets are full of altars decorated with lace and flowers which resemble the Italian essence that captivated our designer with every step she took.
