The creative universe of Alhaja is born in the South of Spain, where tradition coexists with emotion, and where gestures, material, and memories are passed down from generation to generation. Romancero: estampas de una belleza heredada is our first book, a project that seeks to highlight the work of young photographers (Alejandra Mere, Alicia Arce, Racccle, Celia Carrillo, and Almudena Blasco) whose vision deeply connects with the values that define Alhaja's identity: beauty, folklore, symbolism, and the popular.

The book is conceived with a clear intention: to be more than just a book. To be an act of care and celebration of beauty, a beautiful, symbolic, and lasting editorial object, designed to transcend the commercial and become a collector's piece. The book features a prologue written by the artist and singer Ángeles Toledano, whose voice embodies the union between tradition and the new Andalusian sensibility. Her text, intimate and evocative in tone, functions as a poetic threshold: an invocation to origin, to duende, and to heritage transformed into art. Ángeles represents that generation that respects memory and, at the same time, renews it; the same quest that inspires Romancero.
